'The Flash' season 3 episode 3 spoilers, air date: Julian discovers Frankie is a metahuman

In a trailer released by The CW for the third episode of the Flashpoint universe, viewers will see Julian (Tom Felton) confront Frankie (Joey King), when he finds out that she is a metahuman.

The brief clip started with Julian in his lab, fixating on discovering the truth about Frankie's identity. By going through police samples found around Central City and by comparing it with Frankie's DNA, he was able to discover the same element. When he learns the truth about the metahuman, he rushes to the main headquarters to prevent Frankie from leaving the station.

In the clip, Julian can be heard saying, "You're a metahuman. You put your foster father in the hospital, didn't you? Didn't you!?"

Felton's character got more than what he bargained for. Frankie's alterego, Magenta, emerged right after the confrontation. She told Julian, "Oh I wanna do more than hurt him," before adding, "Now, I'm gonna do the same thing to you."

According to reports, the teenager has the same troubled past as the "X-Men" character Magneto. Aside from that, both the characters have the ability to control and bend metal.

Furthermore, in episode 3, Barry (Grant Gustin) will be reunited with Earth2 Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Jesse (Violett Beane). Wells will be needing the help of team Flash, as he is fearing for the safety of the Earth 2 speedster.

The succeeding episode will be titled "The New Rogues." Reports say that in episode 4, the Mirror Master will finally be introduced to "The Flash." The newest metahuman will be portrayed by Grey Damon. Though Barry will advise Jesse to avoid the Mirror Master and his quests, the trainee will defy orders from her mentor, which will eventually lead to undesired consequences.

"The Flash" season 3 episode 3 titled "Magenta" will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
