'The Flash' Season 3 spoilers, plot news: Fans can expect up to 5 villains next season
There is a lot to look forward to in the upcoming third season of "The Flash." The Season 2 finale of CW's DC superhero TV series has changed the course of the story from the very first season, as Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) decided to use his power to go back in time and save his mother from being killed by Reverse Flash. Little did he know that he will create a new present that contains much more sinister individuals than the original present timeline.
According to a report from Game N Guide, the Flashpoint Paradox story arc that will be used in "The Flash" Season 3 will be action-packed as it will not only feature one villain, but five. If the latest rumors are correct, there will be new characters that will challenge the speedster hero, but there are also villains from the past that Barry will need to face again.
The second season's primary villain, Zoom (Teddy Sears), was seen to be abducted by the time wraiths in the season finale. However, he was also transformed into the Black Flash, and according to the reports, this entity can be expected to antagonize Barry once more. However, it is not expected that Black Flash will appear sooner in the third season.
As for the fresh faces in "The Flash," actress Joey King is reported to bag the role of Magenta, a classic DC villain and a known enemy of The Flash. The actress also posted a photo on Instagram, showing her new hair dye and captioned the picture with "I'm coming for you Flash."
Meanwhile, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the central villain of "The Flash" Season 3 is going to be Savatar, another enhanced metahuman that has the same speedster power as Barry. Aside from Savatar, Doctor Alchemy is also said to be the third season's second big bad. The last but not the least villain that will appear in Season 3 is The Top.
