Barry (Grant Gustin) will try to save Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) by going into the Speed Force, and a few ghosts from his past come back to haunt him. Meanwhile, a new villain is set to appear in "The Flash" season 3.

On the next episode of "The Flash" season 3, titled "Into the Speed Force," Barry will try to save Wally from his prison in the Speed Force. However, the Scarlet Speedster might get into trouble himself.

"Desperate to stop Savitar and save his friends, Barry turns to the speed force for answers. H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) gives Jesse (Violett Beane) some advice," the episode listing on The Futon Critic reads.

As seen from the episode promo, Barry will be haunted by Iris' (Candice Patton) ex-boyfriend, Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and Caitlin's fiancé, Robbie (Ronnie Raymond).

Barry feels responsible for these people's deaths, and the Speed Force just might use his guilt to trap him. But the Golden Flash (John Wesley Shipp) will be appearing to keep the Scarlet Speedster stand back up on his feet.

"Every marathon has a finish line," Jay Garrick tells Barry.

Meanwhile, a new villain who has mystical powers will be spreading chaos into Central City soon. According to DC Comics, this villain is none other than Abra Kadabra, who will be played by David Dastmalchian, and it seems that this big bad will have something very valuable to The Flash.

Based on the comic series, Abra Kadabra is actually a magician from the 64th century who traveled to the present day to make himself famous. Abra Kadabra also doesn't have any real powers but relies only on the technology he created back in 1964.

Aside from this, Abra Kadabra was responsible for making Wally West disappear from the DC Universe in the "Titans" comic series. It is possible that "The Flash" will follow the same plot, meaning there's more trouble coming the Kid Flash's way.

"The Flash" season 3 airs every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
