'The Incredibles 2' update, rumors, spoilers: Director Brad Bird confirms start of film production

Just recently, the franchise's big man himself revealed the details of the ongoing production of "The Incredibles 2," and he also confirmed that the fans will see a lot of changes in the second chapter of the film compared to the first one.

According to Movie News Guide, "The Incredibles" director Brad Bird revealed that the production of the sequel is already ongoing, and his team has already started with the animation work. Likewise, it was also reported that the final script for "The Incredibles 2" is already done, and all that is left to do is the voicing and animation of the characters.

Moreover, Bird said that the production of the sequel is going well, and he is already excited to see the final outcome. He also revealed that the main focus of "The Incredibles 2" will still be on the characters. The movie will not also be swayed by the popularity of the recent films that also involve superheroes, meaning that the contents of the sequel will be original.

IGN reported that "The Incredibles 2" will be taking on a different route this time around, and it will include some changes from the first movie. One of the possible changes is the inclusion of a new villain, although this character may have already been present in the movie. It is rumored that Jack-jack will take on a more villainous role in the sequel, and he may even challenge his own brother, Dash, and his entire family.

Many fans have been waiting for years to get the much anticipated "The Incredibles" sequel, as there could be more thrilling adventures that the Parr family can have as they officially became a family of superheroes at the end of the first movie. The premiere of "The Incredibles 2" is tentatively set on June 21, 2018.
