'The Newsroom' Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 3 Sees Will Staying Cool in the Hot Seat

HBO is known for coming up with the grittiest television series, and "The Newsroom" (Sundays at 9 p.m. EST) is no exception.

Season 3 Episode 2 of the series this Sunday will show the ACN newsroom as the FBI is about to conduct a raid. FBI raids are not to be sneezed at, and it would have been only natural if everyone in the newsroom had freaked out or had at least become terribly upset by what happened.

But in the episode titled "Main Justice," star anchorman Will (Jeff Daniels) shows that he is really made of stern stuff. Even if he has been placed on the hot seat as he has become the center of the investigation being conducted by the FBI, he maintains his cool.

Yet this calmness may be due to Will's lack of understanding on the possible consequences of his action. He earlier informed the FBI that he knew the source of the government documents that were not legally obtained.

The FBI is expected to explore this lead as it is determined to get any information it wants to resolve the case. Still, whatever risk Will faces at the moment is still low-key since he has not revealed any name yet.

In the promo video of Episode 3, Will is shown being informed that in case he refuses to cooperate and give the name, there would be a big problem.

Clearly, Will is acting that way as a means of protecting Neal (Dev Patel), whom he had tipped off in Episode 2 about the FBI's arrival and intention to find out the truth about the documents. Neal fled after being tipped, leaving Will to face the agents.

How will this risky situation be resolved? Will the star anchorman of ACN bear the penalty for Neal? What length is the FBI prepared to go to, to find out the truth? Watch Episode 3 "Main Justice" for the answers.
