'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Elijah and Gia Relationship Explored
"The Originals" Season 2 is now into full vampiric gear with the introduction of rumors of Elijah allegedly getting romantically entwined with Gia (a special vampire pet of Marcel).
However, whatever thrills fans may have experienced with the hinted romance were quickly dashed when Daniel Gilles himself, the actor playing Elijah, clarified that his character's relationship with Gia is not romantic but more of that of a mentor to his student.
Anyway, it looks as if everything is still up for grabs as far as new plot developments and character relationships are concerned. But we don't have to wonder too hard about where things are going.
For one thing, the near tragic loss of the city of "The Originals" to a werewolf clan was quickly smoothed over in episode 1 ("Rebirth").
In episode 2 ("Alive and Kicking") Kol was given more airtime and his character began to unravel more. These developments point out to a branching of focus, one that puts strong emphasis on recovery and regaining of strength, by any and all means, even devious ones, after very painful experiences.
So, Kol now wears Daniel Sharman's face? No big deal because in episode 3 ("Live and Die"), Mama Esther is revealed to be using Natalie, the teen witch, as her vessel.
Yes, complications loom on the horizon. Fans await for more. Lots more.
