Actor Keahu Kahuanui just can't get enough of the supernatural world. The "Teen Wolf" star is now headed to New Orleans for some romance in "The Originals" season 4.

Kahuanui has nabbed the role of Eddie, who will be Josh's (Steven Krueger) human boyfriend in the new season of the hit CW series.

Despite his relationship with the vampire and his awareness of the mystic realm, Eddie has not developed the penchant for being anything but human and wants to stay the way he is.

Josh would not help falling for Eddie in "The Originals" season 4 considering that he is, as per TVLine, "sweet, funny, sexy and charming, with an encyclopedic knowledge of random facts."

Fans who have been wanting to see Josh try for romance again would be happy about this news. In the second season, Josh dealt with the death of his beloved Aiden (Colin Woodell) at the hands of Dahlia (Claudia Black).

Josh was wrecked during those trying times, but it appears that he is ready to love again in "The Originals" season 4, and Eddie will be the one to show him it is worth a try.

Kahuanu's role is a recurring one. It is unknown how many episodes in the upcoming season he will be around, but he will be introduced in the second episode.

Kahuanu is just one of the several new characters fans will be seeing in "The Originals" season 4. Another one is Christina Moses, who will play the role of a bisexual ER doctor named Keelin, who is also a werewolf, and the last in her line at that.

Another character joining the fray is Alistair, to be played by "Sleepy Hollow" star Neil Jackson. Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley's (Phoebe Tonkin) daughter Hope will no longer be a baby in the new season.

Thanks to the time jump, she will now be five years old and it will be Summer Fontana who will take on the role.

"The Originals" season 4 will premiere sometime next year.
