In the season finale of "The Originals'" third run, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) made the ultimate sacrifice by taking the Tunde Blade to his heart and being forced into a pain-induced coma. However, when he comes to, he would not only feel the pain of having lost Cami O'Connell (Leah Pipes) but also discover that what he did for his siblings Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) and Freya (Riley Voelkel).

Now, according to Parent Herald, Klaus might even suffer a double-whammy, as his daughter Hope (Summer Fontana), now a young seven-year-old lady thanks to the five-year time jump, could reject him. Of course, it should be taken with a grain of salt, as there were earlier reports that Hope would be Klaus only chance at redemption.

Still, a tweet from Phoebe Tonkin, who plays Hope's mother, Hayley Marshall, on the series, seem to hint of a danger lurking for her daughter. In the tweet, she said "Hope and the other children of New Orleans are in grave danger from the S4 villain. Will Klaus Mikaelson lose Hope so quickly after meeting her fresh off his stint as a Tunde Blade prisoner?"

As for the season 4 big bad, Yusuf Gatewood, who plays Vincent Griffith in the series, was quoted by Hypable as saying that the villain would be an "icky, unctuous, miasmic, old evil."

Discovering the failure of his plan would make Klaus even angrier than he was before he was Tunda-ed, and now that he's grieving over Cami's death, too, would he have time to get to know his daughter? On the flipside, would his daughter find it in her heart to accept what her father is?

Meanwhile, TV Line has reported that Keanu Kahuanui, who appeared on "Teen Wolf," has been cast as Josh Rosza's (Steven Krueger) new human boyfriend, Eddie.

According to the publication, Kahuanui is the perfect fit for the role, seeing as how he's used to working on a TV series with a supernatural genre. On "Teen Wolf," he played Danny, a homosexual human. He would debut on the second episode of "The Originals" season 4.

"The Originals" season 4 airs midseason 2017 on The CW.
