'The Originals' season 4 spoilers news: Upcoming season centered on Hope Mikaelson?

The upcoming fourth season of The CW's hit supernatural drama series, "The Originals," will premiere next year, and as early as now, there are speculations on how the story will evolve, now that the entire Original family of vampires is down.

To recap the final episode of the third season, Niklaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan), along with his siblings, was put under a slumber spell that will save them from death. Their former ally, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), has turned against them and unleashed his fury by inflicting them with a very deadly venom. Thanks to Freya's (Riley Voelkel) efforts, the effect of the venom was stopped by a powerful slumber spell, putting all of them in a deep sleep until such a time that the cure for the venom is found.

As reported by Yibada, Klaus' only daughter, Hope, will be the answer to the family's predicament. Hope is only an infant in Season 3, but it was revealed that the fourth season will feature a five-year time jump. Thus, Hope will be a grown child by that time, and her powers may already be unleashed. Many people believe that Hope's power is the only way to save her family. 

Specifically, Hope is a very special being as she has both the blood of a vampire, werewolf, and witch. As a seven year-old girl, Hope may have already developed her powers and aid in finding the cure for her family. According to Game N Guide, the only way to save the Mikaelson's from the deadly venom is to locate all the seven werewolf clans, which were the origin of the fatal venom. It is rumored that Hope has the ability to locate these ancient werewolf clans, and once they are all gathered, they can come up with a cure to bring the Original family back to life.

Aside from Hope, the online publication also reported that another malevolent vampire will be the other focus of "The Originals" Season 4. Specifically, the unnamed vampire is Niklaus' long-time enemy, and he is expected to exact revenge on him and his family in the upcoming season.
