Electronic Arts (EA) starts 2017 with a new update for "The Sims 4." As seen from the leaked files, the new update will feature Vampire-themed designs, plus new bonus system, accessories and other spooky items.

The Vampire-themed downloadable content (DLC) of "The Sims 4" is set to come out in the first quarter of this year. This time, vampires are set to conquer "The Sims" universe and it will bring more of the spooky scenes that vampires are known for.

As seen from the leaked details on the Sims Community fansite, a new Vampire character is to be introduced in the game. The DLC also carries interesting features such as a vampire walk and vampire teeth. There is also a high chance that the expansion will offer the same gameplay as the "Outdoor Retreat" DLC and a new world may be experienced by the avid players. This is due to the alleged hidden file that bears the codename "Eerie Destination."

The bonus system of "The Sims 4" Vampire-themed DLC is believed to be connected to the supernatural abilities. The "Occult Powers Panel" may possibly be added in the pack, giving the players the opportunity to boost specific abilities or even buy some more.

Other revelations seen from the leaked game codes are a human disguise that is comparable to the franchise's alien characters, and a "gravestone" object that hints at the new vampire characters to be seen.

Electronic Arts is also set to unveil "The Sims 4" second expansion, which focuses on bowling. Entirely different from the spooky, vampire theme, the DLC focuses on athleticism. Details of the second expansion remain scarce, but iDigital Times wrote that the bowling-themed DLC will be a great activity for the group as there may be some cool items and interactions to be featured.

"The Sims 4" Vampire-themed and bowling-themed updates are slated for release during the winter and the spring, respectively.
