More details about the Saviors will be revealed in the upcoming episode of AMC's hit suspense drama "The Walking Dead" season 7.

Titled "Sing Me a Song," next week's episode will highlight a certain community that was recently introduced in the show. To give viewers an idea of what's to come, the official synopsis for episode 7 reads:

"A deeper look at the Sanctuary and the world of the Saviors; members of Alexandria look for supplies."

Only two episodes of "The Walking Dead" in 2016 are left, and it seems like the penultimate "Sing Me a Song" episode will see things take a different turn. Aside from the return of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and the Saviors, viewers will also see Michonne back on the road.

Episode 7 picks up with Michonne after Aaron and Rick left last week for a supply mission. In the promo clip, Michonne appears to borrow a page from "The Wire" fictional character Omar Little by whistling "Farmer in the Dell" to make her presence known. As she walks along an empty road, her whistling attracted two walkers who she killed at the end of the clip. Also, it looks like fans will be spending more time with Negan and Daryl or Rick and Aaron instead of Michonne.

The midseason finale of "The Walking Dead" is fast-approaching, and cast member Sonequa Martin-Green recently caught up with Yahoo TV to give teasers about the episode. "... You see the women, and you see them being decisive and making these tough decisions about moving forward and deciding that they're going to take on the mantle of rectifying this wrong," she said. "Everybody's journey with that, everybody's journey with what life looks like now, now that Negan is here, you'll definitely start to see where all those paths are going to lead people."

"The Walking Dead" season 7 airs every Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
