Rick (Andrew Lincoln) is done being Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) slave and will gather all the suppressed communities to take on the Saviors.

In the upcoming episode 9 of "The Walking Dead" season 7, Rick will finally have the courage to stand against the Saviors with the help from Alexandria, Hilltop, and Kingdom.

On the episode promo, Rick invites the other communities to fight with him. "Our communities have something in common. We all serve the Saviors. We already started this and we're gonna win whatever it takes," said Rick.

But it is not assured that the other communities will join Rick in fighting the Saviors as they still might be under the influence of fear from Negan's wrath.

Meanwhile, one of Negan's Saviors might be plotting against him. Comic Book reports that Negan's wife, Sherry (Christine Evangelista), has a reason why she left Dwight (Austin Amelio) to be with Negan.

"I think what she's doing right now is just this self-sacrificial thing. When she and Dwight came back to the Sanctuary ... he was going to be murdered, and she agreed to become Negan's wife in exchange for his life. ... 'This is who I have to be in order for us all to survive.' It's almost mechanical in a way," Evangelista explained.

Evangelista added that Sherry is always one step ahead and that she's focused in plotting her next moves. This indicates that although Sherry is with Negan, she is already working on a plan to separate herself from him — one that might save the rest of his prisoners in the Sanctuary, too.

Executive producer Scott Gimple shared that the second half of "The Walking Dead" season 7 will be very different from how it began. This might mean that fans can expect a surprising end to the show's season 7.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 returns on Feb. 12, 2017 on AMC.
