While fans have been eagerly anticipating the big reveal in the upcoming "The Walking Dead" season 7 premiere, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays the new main villain Negan, says that viewers should probably be careful what they wish for.

Speaking to the audience during a Q&A session at last week's Supernatural Minneapolis 2016, Morgan fielded questions about the long-awaited season 7, telling the crowd that he can't offer any details about the events in the upcoming season. The actor did, however, offer a warning, saying: "I can't stress enough that if you were one of those people who were like, 'Oh, f—ing cliffhanger...' You're gonna be really, really wishing that the cliffhanger had never ended after the first episode back."

"So, be careful what you wish for," he added.

According to the actor, who revealed that the cast and crew are halfway through filming season 7, "Right now, I'm in full on villain mode and I'm having a blast."

Meanwhile, according to The Spoiling Dead Fans, a casting call has been sent out for a "Walking Dead" character named Brion, who will reportedly be another leader akin to Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Gregory (Xander Berkeley), Negan, and Ezekiel (Khary Payton).

While the "Walking Dead" comic books have never mentioned a Brion, TSDF reports that the character is described as "an educated, pokerfaced leader who has a superior air and does not let his/her motives be known."

ComicBook.com notes that the character's description sounds similar to that of Alpha, a character from the source material. However, the outlet notes that Alpha, the female leader of a group called the Whisperers, isn't likely to be introduced before season 8.

According to The Spoiling Dead Fans, the casting call for Brion does not reveal the gender of the character. It does, however, indicate that the character is between 30 to 40 years old and that the role will recur in season 7.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 debuts on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 9 p.m. EDT on AMC.
