There are only a few days left before the much awaited seventh season premiere of AMC"s "The Walking Dead," and millions of fans all over the world are hyped to know the answers to their questions following the mysterious and gut-wrenching Season 6 finale last April. Nevertheless, cast members of the upcoming season teased that the new episodes will be heavy, especially that major characters may have met their demise last season.

In the last episode, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who is playing the fearsome villain Negan, seemingly killed one of the major players of the series. Anyone in Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) may be in trouble of being killed by Negan's spiked baseball bat that he calls as Lucile. For the viewers, they have to wait until the Season 7 premiere to confirm the identity of his poor victim. However, as reported by The Inquisitr, Negan may have killed more than one character in the infamous cliffhanger scene.

The online publication cited Morgan's interview with Comic Book that his character is not just going to kiill one character in the series. He also claims that Negan is not afraid to smash "more than one skull."

There has been a long-running fan theory that Negan actually killed two characters in the Season 6 cliffhanger finale. Morgan's latest interview seems to confirm this, but the actor later on took back his statement and stated that killing more than one character in the last finale episode is not what he meant.

"I did an interview with this guy and I was talking about Negan's arc and what he does in the course of being Negan on 'The Walking Dead.' Instead of talking about the one person Negan kills, because Negan kills a lot more than one person in the lineup. And somehow he pieced that all together in such a way that it turned into the article that he wrote. It was to get people fired up. Negan does kill a lot of people in the next couple of years," Morgan revealed in Variety Latino.

Nevertheless, the fans are in for a heart-pounding season premiere. "The Walking Dead" actor Norman Reedus, who plays the role of Daryl Dixon since Season 1, has revealed that the viewers should expect a "heavy" episode when the TV series returns on October 23, Yibada reported.
