Polish game developer CD Projekt Red has just released a new patch called update 1.30 for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" along with the title's Game of the Year Edition on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The latest update is intended to solve many of the open-world action role-playing game's numerous gameplay issues, bugs, and technical glitches. Although not the game's biggest patch ever rolled out for major consoles and PC, the update does bring a number of significant enhancements. The company has already published the full patch notes for the said update. Depending on the gaming device, the newly released patch comes at 450 megabytes to 3.9 gigabytes of download.

One of the helpful fixes that come with update 1.30 are the remedies to a number of technical glitches that affect the overall gameplay experience and screen visuals. One of the most annoying issues that players often deal is the disappearance of horse tails and botched quests. Apart from sweeping the bugs off the game, the huge "Witcher 3" update will also give PC gamers using PlayStation Dual Shock 4 controller a little more convenience by making PlayStation 4 buttons appear.

Along with abovementioned improvements, the patch will also add visual enhancements to one of "The Witcher 3" characters. Novigrad's dwarf banker, Vimme Vivaldi, will be getting a fresh makeover while the main characters like Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri will look basically the same.

In another related development, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" Game of the Year Edition also rolls out alongside the newly released patch. Per International Business Times, the GOTY Edition comes with the main game plus all the downloadable additional content like the Hearts of Iron and Blood and Wine expansions all for $50.

Following the release of the last "The Witcher 3" DLC titled "Blood and Wine," CD Projekt Red will now focus its attention on completing other highly anticipated games, namely, "Cyberpunk 2077." and "The Witcher 3" spinoff digital card game "Gwent."
