"The Wrong Mans," the lovable funny situation comedy from BBC Two, will premiere its Season 2 on December 24, 2014. The show's teaser trailer has been released to the delight of its viewers who have enjoyed watching the antics of two low-level office workers who suddenly find themselves actively taking part in a complicated mix of intrigue, corruption, crime, and international conspiracy.

Written and acted by Matthew Baynton (Sam) and James Corden (Phil), "The Wrong Mans" is a refreshing change from typical comedies that usually make extended use of funny action scenes that are just there to generate laughs, but don't really do much to move the story forward.

This is fortunately not the case with "The Wrong Mans." It is funny and full of thrills at the same time, but neither the laughter nor suspense is forced or clumsily woven in.

As the Series Two teaser trailer shows, even when things get seemingly hopeless, there's still something that the audience can be amused about. In the teaser, Sam and Phil are wearing American prison jumpers while walking through a dark prison corridor as the classic Christmas song "Silent Night" sadly plays in the background.

There seems to be a disturbance going on in the prison, yet the two characters do not appear to mind the fact that they are not only thousands of miles away from home but are also inside a dangerous-looking prison.

Just then, there's a sudden denial of wrongdoing, the request for a Wi-Fi password, followed by a short discussion about needing to do some Christmas shopping.

It's this kind of ridiculous exchange delivered in a deadpan manner that British humor is known for, and is fortunately being put to good use in "The Wrong Mans." Going by the Series Two trailer, it seems like there will be much more instances of comedy and danger to expect when the show resumes this December.
