'The Young and the Restless' spoilers, plot news: Adam Newman faces murder charges; drama continues for Newman family
"The Young and the Restless" episodes this week will prove to be dramatically charged for the Newman family, following Constance's murder, a crime that was pinned on Adam Newman (Justin Hartley).
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry spoilers, Adam and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Egan) believe that Luca Santori (Miles Villanueva) is behind the evidence pointing to Adam as the prime suspect. And while Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) almost believed that Adam was innocent, he still had to arrest the latter as per the autopsy report and the journal whose forgery has yet to be revealed. Adam will prepare his defense as court date nears fast.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is torn between believing that Adam is innocent and the empirical evidence presented that point to his father being guilty.
Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Scott) serves Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) divorce papers in prison but Summer Newman (Hunter King) already previously warned him so he knows what is coming his way.
Also during this week, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will be back and will donate big to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Neil Winters' (Kristoff St. John) charitable foundation. She then hangs with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and they reminisce about Katherine "Kay" Chancellor and her impact on their lives. Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan), whom Jill resents for sneaking into and poisoning their lives like cancer, joins the two in their conversation which makes Jill's sentiments toward her even worse. On a relevant note regarding Kay, Jack and Neil will name a wing in their facility after her.
Through the middle of the week, the show will witness Phyllis Abbott's (Gina Tognoni) rejection of Billy Abbott (Billy Miller). She will then try to reconnect with Jack. On the other hand, Bethany who has always had a crush on Billy will make a move on him which Billy accommodates to make Phyllis jealous.
