'The Young and the Restless' spoilers for Sept. 30: Chelsea draws boundaries with Nick; Jack grows impatient with Phyllis

"The Young and the Restless" spoilers for Friday, Sept. 30, episode suggest that Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) will be putting up walls in her life. She's starting to feel that Nick (Joshua Morrow) is going beyond their friendship and it is making her uncomfortable.

As detailed in Celeb Dirty Laundry, Chelsea will draw boundaries between her and Nick. After the death of Adam (Justin Hartley), she has been feeling very depressed and sad. She's greatly grieving and the one friend who have stood by her side since the beginning has been Nick.

However, it seems like Nick's consolation is stirring up some feelings inside of him. Too bad for him because Chelsea is not feeling the same way at all. She only sees Nick as a friend and it will take some time before she will be able to move on from Adam. She's also just not interested in getting into a romantic relationship.

Nick will understand Chelsea's stand. The last thing he wants is to make her uncomfortable so he will respect her decision. Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) is losing his patience with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Spoilers reveal that their relationship will worsen. Jack will lose control and start lashing out at her.

It is also said that Phyllis has already agreed to push on with their divorce. However, she is asking to stay at Jabot. Jack will reject the idea, though, as he wants Phyllis to be out of his life completely. He doesn't want to have anything to do with her anymore as he can't stand the fact that she cheated and lied to him.

He will not allow her at first, but Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will be giving him an advice. He will tell him to give it to her because if he doesn't, Phyllis will only slow the process of their separation. Jack will find it logical so he will agree to let her stay in the company. He just wants out of the marriage fast. However, it's not all victory for Phyllis, though. Jack will be demoting her, putting her in a very low position.

"The Young and the Restless" airs every Monday to Friday at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
