'The Young and the Restless' spoilers: Nick and Dylan clash over baby Sully
The big reveal of the true identity of baby Sully has wreaked havoc in "The Young and The Restless" and things are expected to be packed with more tension in the coming episodes.
According to reports, Dylan (Steven Burton) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) will turn into enemies as they fight over the custody of the child. Ever since Nick found out that his baby with Sage (Kelly Sullivan) has been alive all this time, he is determined to claim what he thinks belongs to him.
But Dylan isn't going to let go that easily. Nick tried to take baby Sully/Christian but Dylan insisted to let the baby stay for the night one last time. He knows that Nick has the right but letting go of the child he thought was his is going to sting a lot and he can't let the baby just go away to a new family. Dylan and Sharon (Sharon Case) are the only parents the child knows.
But Nick isn't going to let that be a hindrance. More tension will rise as Nick carries the baby downstairs. Dylan and Sharon stop him but Nick wants his child now. Fortunately, Chelsea arrives to mediate the argument. They end up resolving the present issue and Nick and Chelsea leaves.
Dylan is relieved but he already feels the pain of losing his son. Sharon tries to reach out to him but he only shuts her down. He tells Sharon that he will stay in the nursery overnight. An emotional scene will follow as Dylan talks to the baby about how much he loves him. Sharon is left with no choice but to feel the pain of her husband whom she listens to on the baby monitor.
Spoilers suggest that Dylan will be depressed over losing baby Sully. He will also lose his trust in Sharon. It's still to be known what will happen to Dylan after the big challenge. He may possibly just leave town as he doesn't see any future without Sully.
"The Young and the Restless" airs Monday to Friday at 2 p.m. EDT on CBS.
