'Titanfall 2' latest news: Minor update released; includes bug fixes
"Titanfall 2" just recently landed and fans who have been waiting for it received early treats from developer Respawn Entertainment.
As detailed in the official blog site of the game, the new first-person shooter video game does not require a Season Pass. This means that all maps and modes are free in "Titanfall 2" multiplayer and anyone can access the legendary Angel City map which has been remastered from the original title.
Upon purchasing the game, customers get the full single player campaign, the full multiplayer maps and modes and long-term support. The fun didn't stop there as Respawn treated its players to an 88 MB-sized day one patch after the launch of the game. The follow-up update reportedly gained delightful impressions from several gamers that's why they released another one but this time just as a little side update.
The most recent update was first revealed in the "Titan Fall 2" forums wherein it announced that the servers would receive it on Oct. 29. It did not reveal much but it detailed the general information that came along with the minor update.
It made some bug fixes which gamers might not actually notice. It also now allow Titans to get 1 XP per round in LTS to be in line with the other modes. Lastly, Titans and Pilots with active Titans can now achieve XP from killing other Titans.
For those who have not picked up the game yet, they can expect "Titanfall 2" to be packed with memorable characters, heroic leaders, evil villains and a new Titan that goes by the name BT-7274. There are actually six new Titans in the multiplayer mode and each one comes with unique abilities and different strengths.
In the single player mode, gamers play as Jack Cooper, a rifleman who dreams of becoming a pilot. Jack actually builds an unusual partnership with BT, which is a veteran Vanguard-class titan. Together, Jack and BT have to work hand in hand to survive missions.
