"Tom Clancy's The Division" has just released its latest patch for PlayStation 4 (PS4) users. Enthusiasts expect that the latest update will fix issues and bugs observed in the game.

According to the game's official website, "Tom Clancy's The Division" update 1.5 will apply some game changes so as to prepare for the Survival downloadable content (DLC), which is also anticipated by both PS4 and Xbox One console players. The upcoming expansion will be available for PS4 on Dec. 20.

One of the game changes that "Tom Clancy's The Division" update 1.5 applied is that Enemy Armor Damage and Stagger can now be used for player-to-player (P2P) mode. Aside from these, the update will also feature World Tier bracket, which will bring more challenges to the players as it is deemed to make the gameplay even more difficult.

"Tom Clancy's The Division" update 1.5 also increases the gear score by up to 256 while the tactical challenge will bring further wrath with 305 damage. Players will immediately notice these changes when they use their Marksman rifles, and even shotguns — they will observe that their target will immediately withdraw.

As for those hoping for faster reload speed, "Tom Clancy's The Division" update 1.5 did not disappoint. Included in the patch is a 25 percent increase in reload speed such as in grenades, which will now take eight seconds before it can be used by players. This is a major improvement from the 15-second reloading in the older version. The headshot bonus is also reduced to 10 percent from 20 percent.

Ubisoft vice president of Live Operations, Anne Blondel, said to PCGamesN that they were able to gain a substantial amount of players since "Tom Clancy's The Division" update 1.4, which was released on Oct. 25.

She said, "We went back to the daily active users we had at launch, because people were [so impressed]."

Hopefully, "Tom Clancy's The Division" update 1.5 will bring even more players to the game, especially since it will soon be released for PS4 players on Dec. 20.
