'Uncharted 4' multiplayer news, cheats update: Game cheaters must be reported, says Naughty Dog

Cheating has become rampant in the multiplayer mode of "Uncharted 4." It also poses many disadvantages to those players who still choose to work hard for their progress in the game. With this, the game developer Naughty Dog decided to make the necessary step to stop cheating of any form in the game.

The multiplayer mode of "Uncharted 4" may have some players that are suspiciously too overpowered, and these are more likely the same people who have taken advantage of the glitches in the game to easily defeat their opponents. The players who remain honest in the game have grown tired of this kind of situation, and therefore, Naughty Dog stepped up to protect the interest of the gaming community. As reported by iTech Post, the game developer company is taking cheating seriously, and they even implemented a few patch updates recently to stop this activity. However, in spite of their efforts to stop cheating, they still need the players' feedback to monitor those cheaters who would still dare to worm their way out.

Naughty Dog encourages the players to report possible acts of "cheating, exploits, or unsporting play" in "Uncharted 4" multiplayer mode. Just visit NaughtyDog.com/Report and log in using their PSN ID to submit their reports. As reported by PlayStation Lifestyle, the offenses in the game include alteration of game code, use of modified game software and hardware, manipulation of in-game system, exploiting environmental geometry, manipulation of connectivity, boosting, and other forms of "unsporting play."

Complaints coming from the players will be properly documented, and these will be thoroughly investigated by the game manager. The complaint must be filled out in the "Suspected Cheating Form" and send it directly to Naughty Dog.

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" was developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment as a PS4 exclusive game last May 10. The multiplayer mode of the game allows the players to explore other characters and use them to fight their opponents.
