'Uncharted 4' single player DLC release date: Expansion pack to arrive December?
The long-awaited single-player downloadable content (DLC) for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will arrive by the end of the year, according to the latest reports.
It is being reported that the expansion pack will be released at the PlayStation Experience (PSX) to be held this December.
According to The Inquisitr, "Uncharted 4" developer Naughty Dog usually launches some of its biggest projects by November or December.
This is true for the second and third "Uncharted" game and "The Last of Us." With that said, it is highly possible that the developer once again prepared something for the year-end.
With the hype surrounding the "Uncharted 4" single player DLC, a PlayStation Experience launch this December makes sense.
In addition, the highly anticipated expansion pack is expected to be included in the winter schedule of the company as detailed in a roadmap of its post-launch content.
With regards to what the "Uncharted 4" DLC will be all about, it is being said that a brand new character will be featured seeing the story of protagonist Nathan Drake is already wrapped up in the base game.
Nathan could still be the central character in the single player content if it is set in the past of the adventurer that was not covered by the three previous titles.
As for specific details about the "Uncharted 4" single player DLC, Naughty Dog said a few months back that it will be a while before they share major details, adding that they would do so "as soon as we're able to give you more info."
For now, gamers can get a load of the new free DLC released for the game. It brought in the Village map from "Uncharted 2" and added a new game mode called Bounty Hunter.
New weapons, boosters and mystical were also introduced. More details can be seen here.
