'Vikings' season 4 episode 14 spoilers: Lagertha faces off with Aslaug; Ragnar deals with King Ecbert
Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) and Lagertha's (Katheryn Winnick) separate plans begin to yield results in the upcoming episode of "Vikings" season 4 titled "In The Uncertain Hour Before the Morning."
According to the synopsis for the forthcoming episode, "Lagertha attempts to fulfill a long-held ambition; Ragnar negotiates an unexpected concession from King Ecbert (Linus Roache)."
It can be recalled that in recently aired episode 13 titled "Two Journeys," viewers saw Lagertha flocked by an army of strong women as she prepared to take Kattegat back from Queen Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland).
The promo for episode 14 shows Lagertha and Aslaug finally confronting each other.
"You're a witch," Lagertha accuses Aslaug, who replies, "I didn't take your husband, he chose to be with me."
"And I've dreamt of taking back my home," Lagertha says boldly.
"You shall have back your half and home," Aslaug utters as she drops her sword.
Will the upcoming episode be in favor of Lagertha and will she finally achieve what she has been dreaming of for quite some time?
Meanwhile, viewers may be in for a shocking twist as Ragnar finally makes his way to Wessex after being shipwrecked in the previous episode. In the promo, Ragnar is captured by King Ecbert's men. King Ecbert then has a tense conversation with the latter, who is locked up in a cage.
King Ecbert asks Ragnar why he had taken such a long time before returning, and the Viking leader says that it is "part of a larger and bolder strategy." King Ecbert then calls Ragnar the "most dangerous man on this earth" before unleashing him from his cage.
Given that King Ecbert was initially in the position of power, viewers are interested to see what Ragnar has up his sleeves that will result in the concession of the former. To see how the story unfolds, be sure to catch episode 14 airing on Dec. 21.
Season 4 of "Vikings" airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m. EST on History Channel.
