'Walking Dead' season 7 episode 5 spoilers: Maggie alive and well at the Hilltop

In the fifth episode of "The Walking Dead" season 7, viewers will see Maggie (Lauren Cohan) alive. Glenn's (Steven Yeun) baby mama has been staying at the Hilltop, receiving medical care since their encounter with Negan.

Since Glenn's death in the first episode of the season, Maggie has been hiding out in the Hilltop. In the upcoming episode, titled "Go Getters," surviving residents of Alexandria will be making their way to the Hilltop Colony. Perhaps the residents were so terrified by their first encounter with the Saviors that they will want to find sanctuary somewhere else before they could get killed by the group.

To recap season 6, Maggie was having complications with her pregnancy, so they attempted to bring her to the Hilltop but failed when the Saviors chased them and barricaded the roads. Though she looked ill the last time she appeared on the show, a teaser for episode 5 revealed that Maggie has been well-cared for and is looking better.

To note, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his gang were led to believe that Maggie died shortly after their brutal encounter. In last Sunday's episode, when Negan and the Saviors made the first of the many visits they will make in Alexandria, he asked about Maggie's whereabouts. Before Rick (Andrew Lincoln) could answer, the priest Gabriel Stokes (Seth Gilliam) told the leader of the Saviors that she didn't survive and he led them to a grave which he claimed was Maggie's.

A teaser for the upcoming episode featured a frustrated Carl (Chandler Riggs) and a confused Michonne (Danai Gurira). The Saviors' intrusion is making everyone uneasy and scared. Though Rick currently doesn't plan to fight the gang, his son believes that that is the only way for them to carry on.
