'Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide' Release Date Latest News: Cooperation a Must for Survival
More details about "Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide" have come out following an earlier official announcement that the game would be released later this year.
The game will be fashioned along the lines of a melee combat adventure and require cooperation among five characters in the game, according to Fatshark, the studio behind the game.
A trailer for the game was launched last March. The trailer revealed that players will have to cooperate with one another in the game if they want their character to survive, as going it alone is not possible. Cooperation is essential because the game is designed to specifically test teamwork and skills of a group.
As for the vermin in the game they are dubbed the "Skaven" which are modeled on rats. In the game they take on the form of rat-men that are experts at attacking in troves and tearing their opponents apart.
As for the characters in the game, Fatshark recently released one of their names. He was revealed to be a Witch Hunter with the name of Victor Saltzpyre. In the game he is equipped with a number of swords and guns and can smoothly switch weapons. In its blog post about the Witch Hunter, Fatshark described his diverse skills covering both melee and ranged combat. The studio revealed that he had been trained to become a member of the Order of the Silver Hammer from a very young age.
"Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide" is also going to have a "spawn system" designed to create new challenges throughout. The five characters in the game are each going to have a vital part to play in it. Several veterans who worked at Games Workshop have been busy writing a new story to support the characters and game.
If all goes well, the game will be releasing for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC simultaneously.
