'Watch Dogs 2' DLC release date delay news 2016: Game delayed due to patch updates
Fans of "Watch Dogs 2" will have to wait a little longer before they get to enjoy its first downloadable content (DLC).
Ubisoft announced that it has decided to delay the release schedule of the T-Bone Content Bundle because the developers used up a lot of time working on several patches to fix the issues regarding the multiplayer mode.
Due to the delay, the upcoming "Watch Dogs 2" T-Bone Content Bundle DLC will be released on PlayStation 4 (PS4) on Thursday, Dec. 22, instead of its original schedule this coming Tuesday, Dec. 13. The Xbox One and PC editions will follow on Jan. 24.
According to the game developer, the T-Bone Content Bundle DLC will feature the adventures of Raymond Kenney, also known as T-Bone. The expansion pack will come out with his own attire as well as his customized school bus that has a bulldozer blade that was made to create extra destruction.
The upcoming DLC will also feature a brand-new Mayhem co-op challenge that features a new nemesis called the Grenadier, which comes with its own high-end tactics and weapons.
The T-Bone Content DLC will be included in the "Watch Dogs 2" Season Pass, which also comes with other contents such as the Human Conditions and No Compromise DLCs that will come out in spring 2017, as well as the Root Access Bundle that will be released in winter. The Season Pass can be purchased for $39.99, but each content can also be purchased separately.
Ubisoft also revealed that it will conduct a T-Bone Chaos Event that will begin on Monday, Dec. 19. "This free event will run for four weeks, with each week bringing a new themed challenge through Ubisoft Club that gives players a chance to earn in-game currency and unique event rewards, like new car skins or a new bag for Marcus," the game developer stated on its official website.
