The release date of "T-Bone," the first downloadable content (DLC) pack for "Watch Dogs 2," was pushed back by Ubisoft Massive.

The delay was due to the unforeseen extended amount of time that the developer spent in putting together patches after the seamless multiplayer mode was disabled.

"Watch Dogs 2's 1.06 title update has just been released across all platforms. This and previous patches were an important step towards stabilizing Watch Dogs 2's seamless multiplayer functionality, and other core online features, before releasing any new multiplayer content," Ubisoft wrote in a blog.

"Since these updates required additional development resources, we've made the decision to adjust our release schedule for that new content," the developer went on to note.

This means that instead of Dec. 13, the "T-Bone" content Bundle will now be released for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) on Dec. 26 in Japan and Dec. 22 in the rest of the world. The Xbox and PC version of the said "Watch Dogs 2" DLC will be much later, Jan. 24.

The "T-Bone" expansion will follow the titular character, whose real name is Raymond Kenney. He will come with his own attire, a school bus especially designed for him and a bulldozer blade for "extra chaos."

The "Watch Dogs 2" DLC comes with a new Mayhem co-op challenge, which introduces a new enemy archetype called the Grenadier, who has advanced weaponry and tactics at their disposal.

A free "T-Bone" Chaos Event will also be held starting Dec. 19. It will run for four months and for each week, players will tackle a new themed challenge through Ubisoft Club.

These challenges will endow players a chance to earn in-game currency and unique event rewards, such as new car skins or a new bag for "Watch Dogs 2" protagonist, Marcus Holloway.

The "T-Bone" DLC is also included in the $40 Season Pass for the game.
