'Wayward Pines' season 2 finale spoilers, plot news: Theo needs to make a decision that could impact the citizens of Wayward Pines
Spoilers for the "Wayward Pines" season 2 finale seem to hint that Theo Yadlin would be making a major decision. However, the decision he makes could affect every human living in Wayward Pines.
The start of Wednesday's episode 9 titled "Walcott Prep" continued where episode 8 left off – with the Abbies getting closer to Wayward Pines. It also showed wounded Abbie leader, Margaret (Rochelle Okoye), recovering from the wounds she sustained from Jason's (Tom Stevens) outburst.
However, it looks like Jason has a plan of his own, and that is to escape the Abbie attack and escape impending hunger by putting all the residents back to sleep. However, C.J. (Djimon Hounsou) discovered that only half of the pods are functional, which brings to light a dilemma. Who will Jason, as town leader and First Generation member, put to sleep and who would be left to starve to death or fall prey to the Abbies?
The episode brought several questions to forefront. Would Margaret and the Abbies finish off all of Wayward Pines' residents? Would Kerry (Kacey Rohl) ever find out that Jason is her son? Who would be the new leader now that Jason is dead?
"As the Abbies descend upon the town, Theo is forced to make a decision that could seal humanity's fate," read the synopsis shared by Carter Matt.
The promo teaser for the finale episode titled "Bedtime Story" shows that major violence would take place. People would freak out and things would get weird. Moreover, now that the Abbies are descending upon Wayward Pines, Theo (Jason Patric) would be forced to make a decision that could seal the fate of majority of the town's residents.
"Wayward Pines" season 2's finale will air on Wednesday, July 27, at 9 p.m. EST on FOX. Meanwhile, check out the promo teaser below.
