Leaked details about the new Windows 10 developer build hinted that Microsoft might be coming up with a Game Mode for the upcoming version of the computer operating system (OS).

A report from Uber Gizmo spotted a leaked information from Twitter user WalkingCat claiming that the upcoming Windows 10 beta build will come with a new feature that will enhance the user's gaming experience on their PCs.

According to the leaked information, the rumored Game Mode will minimize the resources that apps normally use to divert the free space to the games. This will help PC users have a faster and smoother gaming experience.

While the tipster claimed that the mode is still incomplete, the Game Mode is expected to be released in the early months of 2017.

This is not the first time that WalkingCat released an accurate leak about the past Windows update, including the changes on the MS Paint that will also be introduced in the new Creators Update.

Meanwhile, Windows Central claimed that the rumored Game Mode for the upcoming Windows 10 built version 14997 will work exactly the same as the Xbox One since it will reallocate the resources for a smoother playing experience. Yet it remains unclear whether the rumored Game Mode for Windows 10 will work properly with all Win32 games from Steam or Origin, or if it will only work for games that are exclusively released from the Windows Store.

Yet according to ValueWalk, those who are using desktops or laptops with lower-end integrated graphics will experience significant benefits with the rumored Windows 10 Game Mode. But those with higher-end game rigs that are equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor, larger random-access memory (RAM) and the latest graphics card may not see a significant improvement in the gaming mode of their PCs.

Microsoft is expected to release more details about their upcoming Windows 10 build before it comes out in early 2017.
