A new international trailer for the upcoming superhero film "Wonder Woman" was recently released by Warner Bros. to promote the movie in Russia.

The Russian version of the movie trailer is about a minute shorter than the second "Wonder Woman" trailer, which was released a couple of months earlier. According to Movie Web, the newest international trailer does not show a lot of unseen clips from the film, but there are a few additional war-related footage and new shots that are spread throughout the sneak peek which have never been shown before.

"Wonder Woman" stars Gal Gadot in the titular role, who previously appeared in the commercially successful yet critically panned superhero film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

According to the film's synopsis, before Gadot's character was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, the princess of the Amazons, who was trained to be an unconquerable warrior while living in a sheltered island paradise.

When an American pilot crashes on their shores and informs her of the massive conflict taking place in the outside world, Diana decides to leave home in the hopes of stopping the threat. She finds herself fighting alongside mankind in a war that will supposedly end all wars.

Aside from Gadot, the film features an international cast including Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Robin Wright, Elena Anaya, Danny Huston, Said Taghmaoui, and Ewen Bremner.

The heroine-focused superhero film is directed by Patty Jenkins and is based on a screenplay written by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns. Based on the character created by William Moulton Marston and introduced to the world by DC Entertainment, the "Wonder Woman" film is a story developed by Zack Snyder and Allan Heinberg.

The film is produced by Charles Roven, Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, and Richard Suckle. Rebecca Roven, Stephen Jones, Wesley Coller, and Geoff Johns are serving as its executive producers.

"Wonder Woman" is scheduled to hit theaters on June 2, 2017.
