Blizzard Entertainment recently dropped the huge Patch 7.1.5 onto the live servers of the popular video game, "World of Warcraft." The full 7.1.5 patch notes went live last Tuesday, Jan. 10.

Last week, Blizzard teased some of the major features in this patch via a Survival Guide trailer, which gave gamers a rundown of the changes and features that they should expect from the patch. The trailer divulged additions to the 12-year-old massively multiplayer online (MMO) game, such as the "Mists of Pandaria" Timewalking, the creation of "micro-holidays" and an update to the Brawler's Guild.

According to GameRant, Patch 7.1.5 is not the first time Blizzard patched in class changes since the successful launch of the "Legion" expansion last summer, but it is definitely the most comprehensive one.

One of the core features of the "Legion" expansion is the addition of Artifact Weapons, which can be leveled up through the Artifact Knowledge system. With the latest patch, Blizzard has made some changes on how Artifact Knowledge is gained, making it easier to level up Artifact Weapons.

Aside from this, the 7.1.5 update has also introduced a number of Legendary items to the video game and has made some changes to the existing ones. The patch also put some final touches for "The Nighthold," a new raid that is scheduled to open on Jan. 17.

According to Gamespot, one change brought about by the new patch that has already attracted a lot of negative feedback is concerned with Artifact traits. There are allegations that enabling the use of traits which are at or above 35 points in PvP, will provide a potentially game-breaking advantage to certain players.

However, this allegation is yet to be proven as true in action. And if it is, it is still uncertain if Blizzard had input (or has plans to input) some other, unmentioned change to compensate for this alleged issue.

"World of Warcraft" is currently available on Mac and Windows PC. A more thorough discussion of the Patch 7.1.5 update can be read here.
