'World of Warcraft' patch 7.1.5 release date, news: list of micro-event schedules revealed
Blizzard will launch the highly-anticipated 7.1.5 update for "World of Warcraft" on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
The upcoming 7.1.5 update will bring a number of updates and a new content for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game, including a series of micro-holidays. These are short in-game events that will last for a few days.
The first of the series of mini events is called the Call of the Scarab, which will be released on Saturday, Jan. 21, up to Monday, Jan. 23. According to the game's official website, the micro-event will honor the first ringing of the Scarab Gong on Jan. 23 in which players will be allowed to recreate a part of the Ahn'Qiraj gate opening by gathering several items in exchange.
The group of players who will win will be able to raise their faction flag over the gates. That honor will last until the next schedule of the Call of the Scarab event.
The list of the micro-events schedule includes the Hatching of the Hippogryphs on Feb. 23, the March of the Tadpoles on April 5, the Volunteer Guard Day on April 28, the Spring Balloon Festival on May 10–12, the Glowcap Festival on May 27, the Thousand Boat Bash on June 6-8, as well as the Un'goro Madness on Aug. 10–12.
Aside from the micro-holidays, the upcoming "World of Warcraft" 7.1.5 patch will also feature class changes and the Mist of Pandaria Timewalking cycle in which six dungeons like the Temple of Jade Serpent, Shado-Pan Monastery, Stormstout Brewery, Mogu'shan Palace, Gate of the Setting Sun, and Siege of Niuzao Temple will be added to the game.
It will also come with an arena update where the Blade's Edge arena will have a new "coat of paint" that will make its appearance uniform with the rest of the in-game universe.
More details are expected to be released when the "World of Warcraft" patch 7.1.5 update goes live.
