'WWE 2k17' DLC news 2016: Legendary WWE superstars, NXT among confirmed DLC characters
While the upcoming 2K Sports video game "WWE 2k17" will be featuring a lineup of new wrestling superstars, some fans were disappointed that some of their favorites will not be a part of the game. It might be impossible to include all of the existing WWE superstars in the new game, although recently, it was announced that more superstars will be added in "WWE 2k17" via downloadable content (DLC).
As reported by The Bitbag, there will be new wrestlers to join the current roster of "WWE 2k17," and the players will be able to enjoy these characters once the game's DLC rolls out. The new downloadable characters are composed of newcomers and legends, and recently, the first batch of the DLC characters has been introduced.
The official Twitter page of the game also posted an update regarding the upcoming downloadable WWE superstars, but it is interesting that two popular NXT wrestlers will be gracing the "WWE 2k17" DLC. Tye Dillinger and Austin Aries will be a part of the game via the content pack, and the players can use the duo's incredible teamwork in the video game.
On the other hand, Attack of the Fanboy reported that some of the modern-day WWE superstars who were earlier reported to be excluded in the "WWE 2k17" roster are actually going to be downloadable characters in the game. Some of these wrestling superstars include Like Gallows and Karl Anderson. Moreover, it will be interesting to see AJ Styles being joined by the two superstars to make an interesting entrance scene as the original members of The Club.
Moreover, the former NXT superstar and now the member of the Hype Bros, Mojo Rawley, has been included in the extended "WWE 2k17" roster of characters. The players can see more him and Zack Ryder as they work as a tag team to take down their opponents.
The lineup of DLC characters is also going to include the WWE legends such as Kerry Von Erich, The Godfather, Papa Shango and Eddie Guerrero. Guerrero was featured in the roster of "WWE 2k14," but the previous titles have removed his character from the lineup.
