With the release of "WWE 2K17" nearing, more information about the game is coming out. World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) stars themselves are even excited about it, including Sheamus.

In an interview with IGN, The Celtic Warrior gushed about the game's quality and the work the developers at 2K Games did for the wrestling simulation game.

"It's a credit to these 2K guys, they really work their asses off. They take a lot of pride in what they do, you know? They're not just going to turn out any crap. They want to make the best game ever and that's what they're doing when they keep listening to feedback from the fans," said Sheamus.

"And the graphics and the gameplay are second to none. It gets better and better every year. I sound like a broken record saying that since I probably said the same thing last year, but it's the truth," he added.

Sasha Banks also showed some love for "WWE 2K17," promising that she will play the game the minute it comes out. It will be the first time the superstar is featured in the video game series.

Former WWE superstar Goldberg, who is featured in the game in two versions, recently spoke about the game and his involvement there at the "WWE 2K17" media event in New York.

There, the former World Heavyweight Champion said that he is happy to be part of the game and the idea of being able to fight current superstars even those he has not been in the business for 12 years.

During an appearance at the Gamescom 2016 event in Cologne, Germany, Goldberg told the crowd that he should be on the "WWE 2K17" cover and not Brock Lesnar, who he defeated in his final match in WWE.

"WWE 2K17" will be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and personal computer (PC) on Oct. 11.
