'WWE 2K17' release date, roster news updates: Includes John Cena, Bill Goldberg and Dean Rose?

Since the announcement of the latest addition to the "WWE 2K" video game series, "WWE 2K17," it has been a subject of several rumors and speculations all over the internet. Many fans are excited to know if their favorite professional wrestling stars will make it to this year's roster.

As soon as the game was announced, former WWE star Bill Goldberg was the first big name to be included in the list. As of the moment, game developers Yuke's and Visual Concepts have yet to provide the official list of wrestlers for the new game. Game publisher 2K Sports has also continued to stay mum regarding the subject. Nonetheless, there are unconfirmed reports that mentioned several names of wrestling stars.

According to a report by The Bit Bag, there are several discussions online that suggest that Dean Rose will also be headlining the roster. The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion has yet to provide an official statement with regard to the speculations; however, all rumors are pointing to his inclusion in the new game. The publication also suggested that the champion might be the cover star of the new "WWE 2K" video game installment.

However, in a report by GameSpot, the publication said that the game may focus on Bill Goldberg. An intro trailer suggests that Goldberg will be getting the top billing in the new game. There are also speculations suggesting that a special part of the "WWE 2K17" will be included as a preorder bonus for players who decide to get the new game before its official release date.

Meanwhile, despite the contradicting reports, it will be interesting to see who gets the cover of photo of the upcoming wrestling video game.

Other names mentioned in the discussions are John Cena, and "the legit boss"Sasha Banks.
