'WWE 2k17' release date news 2016: Brock Lesnar is this year's cover for upcoming game
2K Sports is set to release the latest WWE-themed sports video game this year, which will include a new roster of wrestling superstars that the players can use to recreate a famous Wrestlemania moment. Arriving on Oct. 11, "WWE 2k17" is slowly spilling more details about the game's contents, and just recently, it was revealed that WWE superstar Brock Lesnar will be the cover athlete for "WWE 2k17."

"My career has been defined by dominating every opportunity presented to me... I am excited for my newest opportunity representing 'WWE 2K17' as the franchise's ambassador and honored to serve as the 'WWE 2K17' cover Superstar," said Lesnar as he was finally revealed as the featured WWE superstar in "WWE 2k17" cover.
It can be recalled that "WWE 2k16" has a Showcase mode that allows players to go through the actual WWE career of the game's featured wrestler. For the previous video game, it was Steve Austin who was featured in these look back modes, and this time around, the players can see more of Brock Lesnar's WWE journey.
According to the previous reports from the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 earlier this month, John Cena and Sasha Banks were confirmed to be included in the roster.
Meanwhile, Ecumenical News reported other WWE superstars such as Bray Wyatt, Alundra Blayze, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bayley which the wrestling fans and gamers would like to see in "WWE 2k17." The report mentioned that these wrestlers are likely to be included in the latest roster together with Brie Bella, a former wrestling superstar who announced her plans of retirement in "Wrestlemania 32" last April.
