With the World Wrestling Entertainment preparing for a brand split, it seems automatic that some of the superstars are also set to go through a character overhaul to help improve the respective brands.

The WWE will separate the rosters in two teams, one representing Raw while the other will exclusively be with the SmackDown brand.

These two will be separate entities with their own respective storylines, and they are not to intersect each other in order to help boost the ratings and performances of the respective shows.

Speculations are rife that Irish superstar Sheamus is set to have that character change — he may turn to a babyface once the brand split is complete.

Ecumenical News reported that Sheamus' run as a heel in the company may come to an end just as his rivalry with Apollo Crews also appears to reach its conclusion.

Ringside News also claimed that Sheamus may be turning face as he performed in a house show in West Virginia.

In a WWE United States Championship match against titlist Rusev, Cesaro, Kalisto and Sami Zayn, Sheamus appeared to be battling to the delight of the fans who cheered him on.

With house shows being the experimental zone of the WWE, this may help push Sheamus back to the adoration of the fans.

According to HNGN, this move to switch Sheamus to a babyface may be to help the respective brand he will be on to stay relevant. With the brand split said to bring in young wrestlers to give new faces and new storylines, the company will rely on veteran stars like Sheamus to keep the flow going and to help the young stars improve as the shows go on.

Sheamus is only one of the many WWE superstars who will likely get a new persona and character, and it will be intriguing to see how the Irish star will succeed with the crowd behind him again.
