Things are certainly getting interesting in the world of professional wrestling, in particular in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Everyone is interested and invested in the upcoming pay-per-view event Survivor Series as the Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live brands will go head-to-head in various match-ups.

There is also another marquee match-up that pits two wrestling legends against each other as Brock Lesnar welcomes back Goldberg in the squared circle for what promises to be an intense battle.

However, with all this happening, WWE fans are even more excited now as it appears another wrestling legend is now confirmed to return. Talks are now circulating that Kurt Angle is making his way back to the WWE as he is heavily considered an exclusive character for the "WWE 2K18" game.

This console game shows all wrestlers in the roster and often also gives Easter eggs to fans regarding who may be coming back in the business.

Angle is at the forefront of the talks and the Olympic legend may very well be featured in one of the bigger events in the WWE, the 2017 Royal Rumble.

It is interesting to see how the WWE will bring in Angle as he has a lot of story lines that he can pursue when he makes his way back.

Angle can be injected to the title picture immediately as he draws a lot of attention. Whether he ends up with SmackDown Live or Monday Night Raw, there will be no shortage of options for him. As one of the biggest stars in the industry, it will not be a difficult sell as Angle pushes to be back on the top.

He could also help develop other younger stars and help the company put them over. Teaming up with the likes of Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins can be a good way to push the brand and transition from one star to another.

It will be a very intriguing and interesting year for the brand and fans should stay tuned for more updates.
