WWE rumors 2016: Paige not returning to WWE following Alberto Del Rio exit?

Paige is currently suspended for 30 days by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) due to a violation of the company's wellness policy, but rumor has it that the superstar has chosen not to return altogether.

WWE insider Front Row Brian claims that Paige has officially quit WWE and has hired lawyers so she can make the exit happen since her contract ties her with the company for a long while.

The news comes in the midst of reports about the exit of her boyfriend and fellow superstar Alberto Del Rio, who was also suspended for 30 days and whose contract with WWE ends this October.

According to pro wrestler Mister Saint Laurent, WWE wanted them to break up and that WWE executive Mark Carrano threatened the young superstar if she continues her relationship with Del Rio.

Before that, it was also reported that Triple H wanted Mexico's Greatest Import out of the company because he parties a lot and is a bad influence to Paige.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com says this was indeed the case and spoke with fellow insider Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio about the possibility of Paige walking away from WWE.

"If she is done with the company, well, I mean, that's gonna be tough," Meltzer said of Paige, who debuted in WWE two years ago, winning the Diva's Championship.

"They're probably trying to maneuver to where she can be released and she can work elsewhere, because she is under contract for a long time, and WWE obviously would probably not want her working the entire term of the contract," he continued.

With the talent Paige showed, WWE had big plans for the superstar, who was also the longest running NXT Women's Champion in history.

However, if the reports are to be believed, the 24-year-old English wrestler is not coming back to the WWE in the near future.
