Ever since The Miz called out Daniel Bryan for not wrestling (after the latter called the former a coward in the ring), there are now reports that the Smackdown general manager will come out of retirement.

Bryan officially quit wrestling last month after sustaining an injury so bad that the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) team did not allow him to step into the ring forever.

The confrontation between Bryan and The Miz happened on "Talking Smack." It turns out that although they planned to heat it up there, most of what happened and what was said did not come from a script.

"Miz and I have known each other for a long time and we really know, like, how to get at each other's nerves," Bryan explained to Jonathan Coachman of ESPN.

"So, I brought up the idea that I thought he wrestled like a coward, and he knows I don't like the way he wrestles... And then he called me out on something that's very personal to me," he continued.

The Miz pointed out how Bryan shied away from wrestling even if he has been cleared to do so. During the interview, Bryan implied that he would want to be wrestling in the ring again.

He said that he would "absolutely" go for it if he were to be booked in a match. "I keep trying to convince people that I'm OK to wrestle, and I think that's probably the hard part," he said.

"A lot of times I'm trying to convince myself, too, that I can wrestle. It's really hard, because the concussion issue is very subjective, and that's the part that a lot of people don't understand," he explained.

Bryan's condition is extremely serious and that it could potentially threaten his life. It is simply too difficult to risk the possibility that the concussions were to receive blows again, which could lead to even more damage.

Bryan's doctors have already given him the permission to wrestle, while the ones on WWE are yet to clear him. The superstar ultimately chose to stop wrestling and focus on his safety and family.

As for him and The Miz, he said that WWE might not want them to cross paths for a while.
