WWE's Brie Bella retirement news: former Diva champion to return after child birth?
After announcing her pregnancy in October 2016, Brie Bella seemed to be excited to meet her baby girl and go back to the WWE ring after giving birth in April this year.
The 33-year-old former WWE Divas champion, and the other half of The Bella Twins pair with sister Nikki, revealed through E! News prior to the launch of their reality show "Total Bellas" that she is expecting her first child with husband Daniel Bryan based on a report from WWE.
Brie announced that she will no longer join WWE's in-ring competition after her Team Total Divas won against Team B.A.D. in WrestleMania 32 in April 2016 to focus on starting a family with her husband. Bryan soon announced his own retirement for the same reasons.
But in an interview with Hollywood Life, Brie claimed that she is excited to go back to the WWE ring after her first child is born on April 30. According to the semi-retired female wrestler, she would love to stage a comeback after she gives birth to her child. This came after she was asked if she still wants to give Bryan a son.
According to the Brie, she would definitely want to have another baby with her husband. But she also wants to stage a comeback on WWE after giving birth to their baby girl. "I mean, obviously being a mother will come first — I would never go full time back on the road — but I would love to come back for matches," Brie stated.
She also said that she and Stephanie McMahon can prove that even Mamas can still strut their stuff inside the ring. "Mama Bears can go in there and whoop some butt! I would like to have the same kind of comeback" the female wrestler stated.
Brie also revealed that she is having an easy time during her pregnancy. She is also preparing to have a natural birth on April 30.
