Xbox Games With Gold October 2016 free games list update: 'MX vs. ATV,' 'I Am Alive' playable for free in Xbox 360 and Xbox One

The month of September is almost over, and for the Xbox Live Gold members, it is time to see the latest lineup of free games in the Xbox Games With Gold for October. Just recently, the list of game titles that are going to be available for free for the whole month of October was released. Likewise, those older game titles included in the new list are announced to be backwards compatible with the Xbox One.

As reported by Express UK, the Xbox Games With Gold for the month of October will see two free game titles each for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 console. Starting on Oct. 1, the Xbox Live Gold subscribers can have these featured video games for free, and some of the older games released before the Xbox One having backwards compatibility for the new console version. Particularly, the free Xbox 360 game titles are "MX vs. ATV Reflex" and "I Am Alive." As for the exclusive Xbox One titles, there are "Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings" and "The Escapist."

For the entire month of October, "Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings" will be available as a free game on Xbox One. For the backwards compatible video game "MX vs. ATV Reflex," it will be available starting on Oct. 1 but will only last for the first half of the month. Afterward, "I Am Alive" will take over from Oct. 16 until the last day of the month. Likewise, "The Escapist" will be available starting on Oct. 16 in Xbox One but it will further extend until Nov. 15, Daily Star UK reported.

There are roughly three days left for the month of September, and the players can still check out the available free games in the Xbox Games With Gold for this month. As of now, the Xbox Live Gold members can check out "Forza Horizon 3" before the time runs out.
