Xbox One Backward Compatibility list news: 9 new titles available now; Family Hub launches with wholesome features
All players of Xbox One will have new titles to enjoy. The latest Xbox One Backward Compatibility program adds nine new titles, which is the final set for 2016.
The team members behind the Xbox One Backward Compatibility program are currently on leave and have rolled out the final set of titles for this year. This has already been confirmed by Xbox's own Larry Hryb, who also said that the company is focusing on other projects as of this time, considering that the Family Hub has just been launched.
The Family Hub is a platform that is focused on helping parents see the benefits of Xbox One S. Aside from providing instructions on how to use the console, it also gives a list of family-friendly titles that all players of all ages will enjoy.
Since it is a Family Hub, it has features such as web filtering, parental controls and even 4K entertainment deals available. There are also amazing deals that can only be enjoyed by the members of Xbox Live Gold members.
Meanwhile, Xbox One players are enjoying new titles with the Xbox One Backward Compatibility. Hryb, however, noted that the nine new titles are the last and final set for this year. He announced on Twitter, "Before Xbox One Backward Compatibility team takes some time off for holidays, we have 6 new releases today. Releases resume after New Year."
The games include "Planets Under Attack," "Bully Scholarship Edition," "Raskulls," "Catherine," "Skydive" and "CLANNAD" (Japan Only).
Furthermore, "BioShock Infinite," "BioShock" and "BioShock 2" are also available for Xbox One following the consistent demand from the players.
To make it even more wonderful, Microsoft announced that it is celebrating the first birthday of Xbox One Backward Compatibility and so it is releasing "The Lost Odyssey" for the entire month.
