Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 release date, specs news 2016: Handset expected to be launched before July ends?

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has been getting a lot of attention lately. The highly anticipated iteration of the Redmi Note series has been a favorite subject of online discussions regarding upcoming smartphone releases. According to the latest report, the privately owned Chinese electronics company is said to hold a press event before this month ends to launch multiple devices including the Redmi Note 4.

As of the moment, Xiaomi has yet to provide details of the upcoming press launch. However, tech observers believe that the company will finally announce the arrival of the Redmi Note 4. Leaked details about the device have already hit the internet suggesting its forthcoming release.

Several leaked information revealed the specs of the upcoming smartphone. In a report by Android Pure, multiple alleged images of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 have been posted on Weibo, a Chinese social mediate website. Along with the images is a specs sheet that is said to be from the device. If rumors prove to be true, fans can certainly expect a much-improved iteration from its predecessor.

The device appears to be sporting several impressive specs including the new MediaTek Helio X20 chipset. The processor will be paired with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage capacity. The report also suggests that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will come with a 5.5-inch screen. As of the moment, no details have been reported with regard to its display features; however, fans expect it to come with full HD capacity. The smartphone is also expected to run on the latest Android operating system layered with MiUI 7.

Meanwhile, there are also speculations suggesting that Xiaomi will no longer release another Redmi Note smartphone this year. According to Phone Arena, the company has shifted their focus on releasing a new device called Redmi Pro, which will run on a MediaTek Helio X25 chipset.

However, these reports have yet to be confirmed by Xiaomi. All rumors and speculations must be taken with a grain of salt until the company decides to make an official announcement.
