Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X latest news, specs review: new leaks reveal possible storage space of Xiaomi's upcoming flagship phone
After releasing the Redmi Note 4 in August, Xiaomi is already gearing up to release its high-end Redmi Note 4X based on the leaked images online.
A report from Gadgets 360 revealed that several details about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X had been leaked through the Chinese social media site, Weibo, as well as on the telecommunications certification site of China called TENAA. This could possibly mean that the rumored device will be unveiled by Xiaomi in the coming days.
Based on the TENAA listing where the device was reportedly listed as the 2016050, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X will be equipped with 4 GB of random-access memory (RAM). Yet there are also reports claiming that there will be a 2 GB and a 3 GB variant of the device upon release.
The upcoming smartphone from the Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer is also expected to come up with a built-in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB of built-in storage, but it can also be expanded up to 32 GB through the device's internal microSD slot.
Other possible specs inclusion of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X include the 5.5-inch full high-definition (HD) display, a 2GHz deca-core processor or a MediaTek Helio X20 system on chip (SoC). It may also come out with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system upon release. The device is also expected to come out with a 13-megapixel (MP) primary rear camera and a five-megapixel front-facing camera with 85-degree wide angle lens and f/2.0 aperture, a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device, as well as a 4,000-milliampere hour (mAh) battery.
While there is no information yet regarding the price range of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, speculations claim that it could be more expensive compared with the current Redmi Note 4 because of its high-end specs. The device is also expected to be unveiled sometime in January 2017.
However, Xiaomi has yet to confirm if the leaked details are correct.
