Xiaomi Redmi Pro release date, specs news 2016: Leaked details reveal some features of the smartphone
The Chinese tech manufacturer, Xiaomi, is set to reveal its latest smartphone next week. Ahead of its official arrival, several leaked information including photos have emerged online revealing some its features.
Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi, recently confirmed on the Chinese social media site Weibo that the device will run on MediaTek's Helio X25 10-core processor. The new smartphone will also feature a dual primary camera.
A couple of images have also been leaked by another Weibo user suggesting that the new Xiaomi Redmi Pro carries a camera with DSLR quality. The images show some photography effects that are found on professional cameras. If rumors prove to be true, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro may have the best camera features in the market today.
Although its launching date is fast approaching, the company has yet to officially provide significant details with regard to the specs and features of smartphone. Nonetheless, fans and critics have already shared their predictions online. According to some reports, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro is expected to arrive with full-metal case. It will also carry a dual camera module with dual tone LED flash.
The upcoming handset will also come with a massive 5.5-inch screen with full HD display. Aside from its MediaTek's Helio X25 10-core processor, the device will rely on the device's 4 GB RAM for multitasking. It will also sport a 64-GB internal storage capacity; however, there is no report as of the moment whether the new smartphone will have an expandable storage via microSD card. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro will be powered by a 4100-mAh battery.
Meanwhile, according to reports, the device will come out on July 27. As of the moment, the pricing details have yet to be announced; however, the company is expected to provide solid information before its official release date.
