Xperia Z3 vs BlackBerry Passport Comparison: Specs, Features Review - A Long Battle Ahead
BlackBerry tried to regain some of its lost glory in the smartphone marketplace by releasing the BlackBerry Passport, but with other smartphones such as the Xperia Z3 quickly improving in size and specifications, it has a long battle ahead.
Comparing the BlackBerry Passport and the Xperia Z3, it is clear that the two phones have little in common in terms of design. The BlackBerry Passport comes with a QWERTY keyboard and an oddly shaped body that is wider than the Xperia Z3 but is not longer. As for materials used in their construction, the BlackBerry Passport has a chassis composed of stainless steel while the Xperia Z3 has a metal based body with rounded edges and is much thinner.

The BlackBerry Passport has the Qualcomm MSM8974AA Snapdragon 801chip coupled with a Quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.26 GHz and an Adreno 330 GPU.
Comparing their cameras, the BlackBerry Passport has a 13 megapixel rear camera, and a 2 megapixel camera in front. The Sony Xperia Z3 has a 20 megapixel rear camera and 2.2 megapixel one in front.
Finally in terms of price, the BlackBerry passport without any contract is priced at $600 while the Xperia Z3 is priced at $580.
