Filming for "Better Call Saul" season 3 has officially started as the cast and crew are back in Albuquerque, New Mexico to film new episodes of the "Breaking Bad" spinoff.

Patrick Fabian, who plays the role of Howard Hamlin in the series, took to Twitter to relay the news to fans by sharing a group photo featuring the cast.

"We're excited to get busy," the actor tweeted to a fan in filming "Better Call Saul" season 3. He revealed in another tweet that the new season will premiere "sometime in the spring."

The first seasons of "Better Call Saul" premiered on a February so it is likely that the third season of the spinoff will drop around that time.

"Better Call Saul" season 3 will pave the way for Jimmy McGill's (Bob Odenkirk) transformation into Saul Goodman as seen in "Breaking Bad."

Helping him get there is Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) whose presence will be felt in the next season. His introduction will be subtle, though, staying true to the drug kingpin's style.

This means that Fring may not be physically in "Better Call Saul" season 3 although he may be pulling the strings to schemes that will be connected to Jimmy.

As Jimmy continues to slip away, so will Kim (Rhea Seehorn) and Chuck (Michael McKean), who will both struggle to see things in black and white.

Jimmy will also be dealing with the fallout of his brother's actions in "Better Call Saul" season 3. Last season, Jimmy admitted to Chuck about fabricating the Mesa Verde documents.

Little did he know, his sly brother recorded his confession. It is unclear what will come next following this shocker come next season, but it appears that it will further push Jimmy over the edge.

"Better Call Saul" season 3 will premiere early next year on AMC.
