The trailer for "Better Call Saul" season 3 has sealed the much-awaited return of "Breaking Bad" villain Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) into the familiar world.

The infamous restaurateur and drug kingpin appeared in the promo for the new season, which came in the form of a commercial for Los Pollos Hermanos, the fast-food restaurant that he owned in "Breaking Bad."

At the Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour, it was revealed that Fring will indeed appear in "Better Call Saul" season 3 episodes. In the past, there was no confirmation on whether or not he will show his face in the spinoff.

Esposito himself graced the event to break the good news. "It's great to be back with the family of filmmakers," the actor said as quoted by Deadline. "I'm honored to be asked back," he went on to say.

Esposito said that to effectively slip back into Gus Fring again for "Better Call Saul" season 3, he had to "remind myself to be very present" in his character that he described as "immature."

"I'm excited to be back. Gus is a cagey character. I'm going back to the original stage direction that was really inspiring to me, which was 'Hiding in plain sight.' You're not who you think you are. Sometimes you have different agendas and go about achieving things in different ways," the actor said, adding that he is excited to see where "Better Call Saul" takes his character.

While he admitted it took some time absorbing the idea of reprising his role in "Breaking Bad" but at the point of the character's life that is yet to be explored, Esposito did not think twice about joining "Better Call Saul" season 3.

As those who watched "Breaking Bad" know, Fring's arrival will mark a change not only for Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk), who is close to completing his Saul transformation, and even Mike (Jonathan Banks).

"Better Call Saul" season 3 premieres spring 2017.
